I think the screen is too small for tabs. What's wrong with pressing the "home" key to switch between windows, which is essentially the same functionality as tabs.

Why vote against it? Have you guys actually used tab-systems before? There isn't any extra space taken up if you're not using it, as the tab bar is completely hidden when you're not using it.
