Hi,

I have play a little with the SDK this past two day (I'm try to build a simple app that I really want it ) and I have a problem when I launch my project on the Qt Simulator.

The program exit with this error message :

Shared memory already exists, and is too small: 1356800 where 1536000 required
Waiting for RPC reply to 'createWidget'' call timed out
The program has unexpectedly finished.

Everything is good when I launch my project on the N900 with MAD.

Do you know what I am doing wrong and how to fix it ?

(I have close/relaunch the SDK, reboot the computer, recompile everything and sacrificed network card without succed)

Bonus question : how to make a package with the Nokia SDK ?

That sounds strange, will point try to figure out, what could cause this.

Unfortunately, creating a debian package is not part of the Nokia SDK, but you can do it with the MADDE terminal in whatever system you use. Here is a general page about packaging, and there is one with all the things, which are necessary for packaging with Qt.

Regarding the shared memory issue, please have a look at this bug
http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTSIM-28 and discuss the problem there. That will bring a faster solution.
