It appears PR1.3 has introduced a new bug...

Flash videos no longer appear in the Media Player....

I have all my Flash videos still on my N900, and they still play fine when selected through the File Manager....but they can no longer be accessed through the Media Player, which is a real PITA!

Anyone else notice this?

i think you need to install extra decoder support for this

Already have extra decoders, and it was working fine before the PR1.3 update....

The Flash videos I have still work.....they are just no longer showing in the Media Player....

Tomorrow I will take them all off my N900, and then put them back on to force the N900 to 'reload' them, see if that gets them to reshow in the libary

Ditto. Just noticed the same thing.

I have extra codecs installed.

For me it worked.

I have "opened with" "media player with extra decoder support"
(In the list of the connected applications there are TWO "media player" one with and one without extra decoder support.)

Did not work for me either. In my case it's the FLAC files that are missing, but I assume it has the same cause.

apt-get install --reinstall decoders-support
worked.

Be root when executing this. And when asked if you want to continue - dont type y and hit enter, notice the capitalised Y. So type Y and hit enter. Silly mistake on my part.

Thanks mankir.
