I find myself in a situation faced by a lot of posters, and that is some of my remote controls aren't in the remote control database.
As the n900 doesn't have an ir receive sensor , it can't learn.
Therefore can anyone who has gone to the trouble of buying an ir sensor and installing software to create their own config files please post their experiences?
I believe that WinLIRC / LIRC learning via irrecord is troublesome and not easy, are there any other options, or have people used winlirc/lirc without issues?
