Exactly. there is class H that deals with it by using several steps thereby avoiding the 50% problem.
Anyway, i wont argue about the class D amp, the D&Baudio amps i linked earlier are also class D and i can live with that. (the devil is in the details as they say )

-However dont get me started on yamaha digital mixingconsoles and their cheap metallic AD/DA... and thats some proeqipment thats costs as much as a new car and has the weight of a quarter of a car
