Dude, that's lazy. Did you click back a page?

http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=869

Could we have a list of "on the agenda" items for next update at some time?

The link sensitivity is so high when you tap a page to zoom you sometimes can't help but touch a link which then loads that link. It happens a to me a lot. I find myself looking for an area to tap which would load some other page. The zoom and link handling in v10 was my preference.

Also, can we not have an option to change reported flash version in about:config?

Thanks for this browser.

This would be usefull to view youtube/flash links!

These sites are the only one I use microb for!
I love opera and using it as default browser!

Or is there flash support coming?

And could you add creating desktop shortcuts from within opera?
Oh and is there a way to use the "mobile view" only for certain sites?
I suspect all these could be handled by a separate app similar to the "browser switchboard", or by an extension to that; it could automatically choose what to open a page in based on rules, either coded in before or learn-as-you-go; I don't think opera should do too much to specialise itself for lots of other browsers on the device, and maybe at most allow an "open in default browser" on a context-click on a link/bookmark.

+1 from here. e.g. on talk.maemo.org right side "meego contest" link-image getīs too often clicked when i try to scroll page while itīs still loading.

Also I loved "bug" where pressing back button closed tab that had been opened.

Currently:
http://www.ampparit.com (newspage that has external links) 1 click to link -> new tab and focus to it > 2+3 click to zoom, browsing reading etc. To go back (from fullscreen) ->4 click to bring bottom menu -> 5 click to bring tab menu -> 6 click to activate close or choose main link page -> 7 click to execute action. -> if I close tab then 8. click to select "root" page

Old:
Ampparit.com (news page that has external links) 1 click > new tab and focus to it > 2 click to zoom, browsing reading etc. To go back (fullscreen) ->3 click to zoom out -> 4 click to close tab if no back history on current tab and return to linkīs root tab.

8 clicks vs. 4 clicks.

In new mode I have to move finger across screen while in old way I could just had to double-click same back arrow.

I really really loved old "bug" feature.

.edit
Maybe separate button to popup tabs immediately.

btw. why microB seems to be only app that takes advantage of off screen flick to on screen gesture?

..edit
Iīm still getting completely white page after loading has ended on some pages. If you need detailed debug please give instructions. Maybe something to do with urlfilter list?

I'm doing these releases as a hobby and I don't have an agenda. I do whatever interests me for the moment.

I have no control over issues like these. The cross platform GUI is developed by a different team. A better place to raise UI issues might be in the Opera Mobile forums, not sure how much attention they pay though.

As always, there is no Flash support in the Maemo version, probably never will be either.

Thanks for this browser.
You're welcome.

Another one on the topic of link sensitivity:

I often do a single tap to go to fullscreen, accidentally triggering a link.
In older version of Opera, tapping the Opera titlebar made it fullscreen.
Any chance of having that back?

I have the same problem, you can prevent this from happening by disabling fullscreen mode in settings, this way it won't open a link while scrolling.

To make all rules work, edit the file and add double quotes around all patterns that contain a = character. I.e. change

*&adType=*

to

"*&adType=*"

etc.

Does someone know how to edit this in one step, because nearly every entry contains the letter "a". Or does someome has already done it and could provide a proper urlfilter.ini.

Btw. can we use Fanboy's elements hider somehow, too?

Thx in advance,

J4ZZ,

something like:

sed 's/^\([^=]*\)=\([^=]*\)/"\1=\2"/' oldfilename > newfilename

will change every line in oldfilename containing an '=' as desired, leaving other lines untouched, and output the result to a file called newfilename.

Code:
cat urlfilter.ini|awk '/\=/ {$0="\""$0"\""} {print}' >urlfilter.ini.1
