Sorry If this has been asked and answered, but like above if you already have Gingerbread installed. Can you list step by step what to do to load the new version. I have the "N11_Vostok.tar.bz2" in the same location as gingerbread was but at

root
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d N11_Vostok.tar.bz2

=-> Right here I get file not found <-=

cd /home
mkdir /and
cd /
mount /home /and
cd /and
tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/N11_Vostok.tar

when installing nitroid, I know that its difficult to call on it, so are we able to dual boot nitroid with maemo, and then swap OS's with a click/touch of a button?
p.s. sorry if this has been asked already

thanks in advance

If you have the dual boot setup you can switch at startup. If that is what you mean. If you mean while running Android...No.

I guess you can't access the directory while still plugged into the PC..

Ok now I cant boot into Nitdroid it just goes back into the boot screen.

My gingerbread 2.3.1 was working fine.

I used this.

root
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d N11_Vostok.tar.bz2
cd /home
mkdir /and
cd /
mount /home /and
cd /and
tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/N11_Vostok.tar
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06_final1_armel.deb

and guessed it would install over the old. Ant ideas would be appreciated, oh btw i believe I have the Titan kernal, should i be using another one?

nitdroid uses a completely different kernel and is flashed every time you boot into nitdroid hence "dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06_final1_armel.deb"

now it is recommended that you install it as a fresh copy not over the old one. so i would recommend you to reinstall it properly as a clean copy. delete your previous installation

Hi, out of curiosity does the N11 version have any limitations? Ie. Still unable to make voice calls, etc. ?

Thanks!
