Q,

Just wanted to reach out and thank you for chiming in on T.M.O. the last 24 hours.

There's clearly more than enough FUD to go around ('fear, uncertainty, & doubt'), and your steady, professional voice and transparency has helped neutralize a lot of it (it seems). Thanks for modelling the kind of leadership the forum needs right now. I know I sure find it tough to resist feeding the trolls sometimes.

All the best, and keep it up,

digittante

Thanks Qgil for taking an IRC chat from your sauna last night, thereby giving me a mental image to spoil my entire evening...

Seriously, thanks for being there and for all you're doing.

I really need to get a better grip on my imagination if he's going to make a habit of it.

/agree with above posters

Awesome work to sort things out!
So much what if's and speculations without facs and guesswork
doesn't exactly calm the nervous one's down.

So big thanks for the effort to clear things out since it's a pretty huge thing with the new direction things taken the last few days.

You've heard that electronic devices are tested in a fog chamber, right? Sauna simply is the finnish version of it

Is there a thread full of summaries of the answers from the IRC chat from last night? I've tried searching, but getting hit with timeouts.
