Well, that is because there is none...
But you can install birthday, an add-on for the calendar to display the birthdays of your contacts http://maemo.org/packages/view/birthday

thanks for the response but there was always a birthday calendar its even written in the user guide Oo

first; Anything new important software wich I should install? Except CSSU (using testing flavour) ?
second . I dont have a birthday calendar - anybody knows why?
