And what would have to be reimplemented on N9(00) provided the rest of code compiled? What is Jolla specific?

I know about this post, but it's quite old, besides one would have to build it to see.

That is another propriety solution like alien dalvik. Might look into the webos way and get a chroot going with surfaceflinger drawing to a second framebuffer.

Turns out for my method of getting Android apps working in Sailfish by booting into Cyanogenmod from within Sailfish. /dev/input/eventX doesn't respond when running the "cat" command, so that's why input doesn't work. But I don't know how to get it working, any ideas?

Do you need to use a bind mount? I had to do something like that to get systemd-nspawn to play nicely on my desktop whilst working on a project.

Just wondering if the following will be of any use to you or anyone else further down the road: http://liliputing.com/2015/10/free-a...-services.html

no we don't need bind mount, the init process mounts dev, devpts and so on automatically

Here's the logcat log https://bpaste.net/show/86c3aa148d7f
of when I boot into CM from Sailfish, and it seems system server crashes every now and then. I have tried switching runtime from dalvik to ART but if anything it's less stable with ART. So once we figure out why system server crashes and how to fix it, then we'll focus on the other issues like input. Although in the mean time I might make an android app that starts at boot which uses the input command to pass input into android, which should be enough for the touchscreen, power button, and volume buttons to work.
