I would buy N10 if nokia ever release one when the Windows madness is over.
im sory, but WP is WIN CE with changed GUI and artificial limitations and restrictions, WP is not a new OS, its just a new version or you must count symbian belle for instance as a completly new OS...

because it is a forum, were once ppl start a discussion (even off topic) it gains a momentum of its own...
the other one is that there are (certainly on this forum) ppl who believe more in a successor to the N9 then in WP/Lumia's success

While Nokia moved increasingly FARTHER AWAY from open-source, Google's Android is moving TOWARD openness:

With Linux merge, expect Android flowers to bloom
Developers outside Google who want to build on the mobile OS's foundation should be able to stretch out and blossom. That should pay dividends for building a better Android.

Because you keep coming back to read it.

To claim that people who HAVE something liked that thing they got isn't equivalent to something being good enough to sway people into buying into it. Haters gonna hate... but man, there seems to be a LOT of haters out there--in fact, going by the numbers, a majority of people seem to prefer anything else.
The problem is adoption of the platform....noone cares to try it because it's microsoft who made it. No matter how good it is. It's so bad that word of mouth isn't enough. Almost all reviews say it's good, so you also can't say it's not being 'good enough' to sway people. How would they know....if they haven't used it.
Microsoft hopes to buffer their bad name with Nokia's fanbase, which funnily is getting worse day by day (even before Elop).

There's also the issue of crap phone hardware that the platform have come on as well as the slow releases of these crap phones. Naturally market share will decline, You have android phones coming out every month, while an underdog platform is bring a wave of devices once a year with 'out of date' specs.

We've done this dance before danramos....must we do it again *sigh* does it even matter anymore. Let's just mourn the loss of meego/harmattan/maemo 6 and move on.

Just port Meego to Samsung Galaxy S2/S3, and you would be happier than to get any Nokia N10.
