In a nutshell, StultitiaSimplex is a simple audio recorder and player. The main use case, I had in mind while developing it, was to record short snippets of sounds and have them quickly available for easy playback. You can find more information about all this in the following post on my blog: http://ruedigergad.com/2014/01/12/st...is-in-harbour/
StultitiaSimplex is available in Harbour. I attached some screenshots as well.

I hope you like it.

You do realize this has nothing to do with call recording right?....

I assume that you already answered your question since you have another question.
I'll answer anyway in order to have the answer documented:
It is available in Harbour; i.e., you can install it via the "Store" application.

You need to add a category via the "+" button on the right, first.
Then you can choose the category.

Edit:
Oops, I missed another question.

Right now, it is not possible.
However, when I had a look at the available inputs it looked promising that something like that could be easily implemented.
From my current perspective, the only thing needed would be a selection for the audio source.
This, however, does not have top priority for me, right now.

On the contrary , call recording is a subsidiary of sound recording.

If the developer feels like it, why not he could implement sound recording in one go.

BTW: The develooper of "Recaller" on Maemo but he is too busy to port his program to Sailfish. So their currently is a gap in the sound recaller category .

(Recaller = versatile sound recorder application with a widget that could auto-record calls as well as any sound)

Anyway, I was waiting for a sound recaller and am most happy to see such program appearing.

Thank you...

EDIT after testing:

-audio recording and playback works
-VU meter is nice idea
-interface not yet user friendly:

My issues is with the typing work prior to recording and even playback:
-name should be typed after recording (get the recording going already)

-if no name typed, use auto naming (date , hour)

-same for playback, just allow categories , tags etc.. to be selected AFTER reviewing the actual recording.

I agree with ste-phan in that call recording is a thing I miss* from my N900 and could be in the scope of a recording application. I'd like something small & dedicated for that if I were to choose, though.

A bit more on original Topic: Thanks for making this App, Wonko, it looks really promising. It's not the prettiest thing on earth (yet?), but neither am I, so I can cope.

*) That was brilliant, you could even answer the Phone when drunk and didn't have to remember a single important thing your Mom had to call you about on a saturday night. Hopefully not the most common use case.
