I am currently no using a MicroSd at all. What are the gains from doing so? I know its easier to download music and pics to micro SD as did this on N95.
Is it worth getting one? Does the n900 use up onboard memory quickly?

thanks

All depends on how much stuff you are putting on your phone. You have around 27GB to play with before you need to by a memory card.

I plan on using up the internal memory first and then buying a 16GB micro SD card if i need to.

Not too sure about the benefits of using a micro SD card, but i would assume that the devise can read/write to the internal memory faster then a microSD card. This is why I will using this first.

Hope this helps

32GB microSDHC shouldn't be far off ... might as well wait :-)

I just hate the microSD non-solution more than ever. In addition to not having a slot where I can easily install a card from my camera, I've just found out that I can't actually buy any microSD cards in town. There's a huge selection of proper full-size SD everywhere though.

It would've been a handy way to transfer photos from my camera to the phone, but they put the microsd card inside. :/

So really I don't see the point, its mostly for transferring stuff from your old phone I suspect.
