Let me be upfront about something real quick.... I list the following in all my scripts comments that are geared towards pentesting, but I might as well throw it up front here, so that people do NOT get the wrong idea. My pentesting scripts are for LEGAL use, not illegitimate purposes....


A couple days ago I finally ported HydraFy over to the N900. So what the heck is Snafu talkin about with this HydraFy nonsense right?

HydraFy is a text based bash script that takes the memorization of the syntax for hydra out of the equation.

I hate trying to remember syntax all the time, so when it comes to a program I use a lot, I script it up as best as I can.

Anyways, for those who have used hydra, you find that there is a lot of default usernames and passwords out there in the wild. Remembering the syntax on a fullblown keyboard is tedious enuf, using the tee tiny keypad on the N900 is even worse...

Oh yeah, you obviously need hydra installed to run HydraFy...

When I first played with hydra and the n900 I managed to get xHydra working, since then I wiped my phone and lost all my notes as to how I did this, when I figure it out again, Ill post it.
