Hello, I have noticed that there have come a couple desktop widgets made with Qt. I would like to make one myself, but I am concerned about the behaviour:

When I install a Qt desktop widget, it will appear in the "more" app listing, not in the dekstop "add widget" list. When I launch the app, it is displayed in the desktop, but after a reboot it is gone again.

Is this a limitation of Qt as of right now or is there a workaround? Anyone with some knowledge to these concerns would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I guess its mostly nobody knows
I created batlevel, and Ive posted the same concern in many threads. WIll update when I have info.

In the meanwhile Im trying to develop gtk widgets, which supposedly can get added to the add widget option on the desktop and wont dissapear
