Have you installed qt 4.6 libraries from somewhere else than extras-devel?

Ok. I used apt-get to install it and worked fine. Thanks.

Version 0.1.0 now in extras-testing, please vote.

It is basically the same as previous version, only added "Quit" item in menu (and a bugtracker). I think it's quite ready to hit the Extras.

Hi,

this is a very helpful application for me. As somebody before asked for, it would be nice to be able to active some kind of visual feedback where the sceen flashes to the beat.

Just a suggestion ;-).

All the best,
Michael.

What kind of visual feedback would be good? How about led flashing?

I uploaded version 0.1.1 to extras-devel today. New features:
- remembers last settings when started
- + and - buttons for more accurate BPM setting

I will promote this to extras-testing after 0.1.0 gets 10 votes and gets to extras. Only 2 votes needed anymore.

maetronome rocks. very simple and works well. thanks!

feature request:
a setting to enable "snapping"
so that when you move the slider it jumps to 100,110,120, and so on.
You can probably making snapping enabled by default.
it would be better then +- buttons imho, I know noone who practices at 98bpm, 112 or something like that.

also, it would rock to have a midi player on the n900. all my tempotracks (especially made for songs, with gradual tempo changes and such) are all in midi. and the ability to play the midi file at 90% of the speed and such ;-)

maybe something for your next project ;-)

That'd be great, and different color every n:th beat (red blue blue blue, red blue blue blue, red ... for 1/4).
