Does anyone know if there's a uPnP client in development for the N9? I've read about this for N900 users and the like, but haven't found a concrete solution, much less one that could be ported to the N9. The ability to access my (rather large) music library on the go via uPnP would be ideal, rather than syncing small slices of my library.

Have you tried subsonic? Aerofly for N9, allows you to stream your music collection over http so it even works over 3g, which is cool

Sorry for digging up century old thread, but I'm also looking for an app that could be used to play music from NAS with UpNP (Twonky server) on N9. I've found Helium, but this does not allow to play the content on N9 - just on other serves in the network. Is there any way to do that?

Doesn't the built-in media player have that? The n900's media player has DLNA built-in.

No, a regression IMO.

Ya, that is/was great.

The N9 does have a nice uPNP "push to client" app that integrates nicely with the UI (Pushup). Cool as that is, it's sort of the opposite of what we're talking about.
