Are there any Facebook applications available?

The only thing that I figured out how to do, was I took the RSS Feed of my friends' statuses and I added it to my RSS Reader Applet.

Dunno. Do we really need one? One thing that irks me about the iPhone is that you "need" an application to view sites like Facebook. One of the many things that I love about the N800 is that you don't need those apps, they work just fine in the browser. (Though, exceptions to the rule, like MyTube really help with YouTube performance.)

What does that "FriendsCard" do, exactly? I can't tell from that link.

Ooooh, what's MyTube? Is there something that can make Hulu run more fluidly?

I installed it and commented on it, on maemo.org. Don't know where my comment went. It's a read only interface. You can't make any updates or post to facebook with it. Not very useful.

No need for a user agent, Go to http://iphone.facebook.com

I understand that going to that address also does the same......but the best thing about changing user agent is that all the websites which are optimized for iphone... like bankofamerica, amazon etc render the iphone version by default. if there is no iphone version then it renders the regular page. SO nothing to lose

and google gets even more false positives in its iphone usage statistic...

meh, use m.facebook.com. really supposed to be used by phones, but is a nice light alternative to the main one...

What makes a site formatted for use on an iphone? All they do is optimise it so it works well at low resolution, is frugle with data usage and is touchscreen friendly. Which makes it perfect for the internet tablet! Especially if you're connected through a 3G network
