is there any way we could have control key in vkb?

Thanks to Kallela and qwazix for their great ideas.
I love qwazix's portrait layout but I also love Kallela's landscape layout, so I've combined the two. The new layout is attached.

Edit: fixed typo in en_us_custom_with_arrows.xml and uploaded the zip file again.

Arrows don't indeed work on messaging app (Swype keyboard arrows do work, don't know how they are different).

However, there was one time when arrows (I have "English with arrows" package installed from Mesinput) did work on Messaging app. Unfortunately I do not know how I managed to make them work and I have not been able to reproduce this wanted behavior later.

Arrows work when You send a new txt message. Try it...

But when You try to answer somebodys SMS they dont...

Arrows work only if You can choose where You send it.

Can this be fixed?....

They look just like the screenshots allready posted above. The layouts are not new. I've just combined portrait layout from qwazix with landscape layout from Kallela.

Seems like you are right, arrows do indeed work on a new SMS window. How is this different to answering to an old SMS, does anybody know?

I can't get the symbols to work. I keep on pressing the 123 button but doesn't change. Help.

Hmm. I use Kallelas arrows. There You need to activate special keyboard before it works.

Settings - time and language - text input .....

Hope this helps?
