Hello everyone.

When I was using iPhone I had this idea and now with N900 I think its possible or @ least one step closer.

I was thinking of useing N900 and other wi-fi enabled smart phones (or @least 2 - N900s for now) near by each other to be able to talk to each other with the help of ad-hoc network between them.

Basically I go for camping and tracking a lot. and sometime I dont get signles (AT&T ) in remote area. but if we can develop an application which can use the wifi to look up near by N900 (let say my friend is with me and he also have and N900 but we both do not have GSM signels) and can connect to it and transmit voice (and front camera video) to each other without network coverage that will be great.

Please Let me know what you all think about it and rate the brainstorming idea.
