The unpleasaant thing is that they seem to track your software version using the product ID you provide, so if you got the latest version you cannot get the image any more.
Either way, sometime later this week there's a linux flasher (among other nicities) coming, from what I hear.

I bought the device with the latest version installed and was able to download it.
