The Tizen powered Samsung Z2. This means Tizen services could be available in America. You could buy the higher Z3 or Z4 and have it be usable in the US. Americans could potentially have an alternative to Android and iOs. Overall Tizen is still looking like the best Android and iOs competitor, soon it will overtake Windows Phone just at it Blackberry 10. Samsung achieved modest success with Bada and they can achieve similar success with Tizen.

Sounds epic. Wish them all the best. Hope they find some high-end hardware for Tizen too.

Don't know much about Tizen. Does it work like a usual linux distribution. Can you run vi or compile using make command? Could someone provide nice link with overall description. Thanks!

Tizen is awesome! with a few more services it will be great!

Note. This is a budget OS simular to sailfish. No top notch hardware any time soon.
