qole's "Easy Debian Turbo-Charged Edition!" thread is long, but it is where he looks for those who need help. Posting your request there will likely lead to faster assistance.

And as a side note, it's "Debian", as in "Deb + Ian".

How about manually downloading the *.img file (http://qole.org/files/debian-chroot-img-final.tar.bz2) and untarring it?

That's OK, it took me a while too

Download the file and save it to the root of one of your memory cards (should be the same you selected with the installer).

Then open up the X Terminal application and:

tar -jxf /media/mmc[12]/debian-chroot-img-final.tar.bz2

where [12] is either 1 (external memory.card) or 2 (internal).

Try to see if Easy Debian 'just works', if it doesn't, you'll need to edit /home/user/.chroot file (which is really easy).

And that 'should work', no promises though

OK, forget everything I said. Let's try a different strategy...

What is the *exact* (copy/paste) output of the Debian Image Installer?

I have no idea... Is this using those commands above or the installer? Because I just tried the installer, and it worked grand.
