Fahrplan stopped working for me with the DB backend a while ago. For every query I get a 'No response from server' message, even on fast wi-fi.
I just tested the other backends - same problem.
It also crashes occasionally instead of displaying the 'no repsonse' banner.
I'm using the previously fixed version (0.0.29 patchlevel 2) on the N900.
Is fahrplan working for anyone?

Tried it a few hours ago on the N9, the DB Fahrplan was working fine.

Yes, as I said, that is the version I'm using and which doesn't work anymore.
Is it working for you?

Yes. I followed http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...40#post1312340 and installed http://www.pahlx.de/maemo_n900/fahrplan to the location where the defunct fahrplan binary lives (after I did a "mv /usr/bin/fahrplan /usr/bin/fahrplan-original-backup"), chmod +x the permissions, and it works for DB backend.

After some wrestling with the debian/rules file I have now successfully uploaded version 0.0.30 of fahrplan to the autobuilder (with smurfy's consent). It should appear in extras-devel soon.

fahrplan (0.0.30) stable; urgency=medium

* increased network timeout to 30 sec (which also seems to fix a crash)
* incorporated dehapama's patch from http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=303
* extended the DB parsing a bit to show platforms with English locale

foobar, thanks. I did not follow the thread (just started to use it) so maybe this is already known.
The connection(s) and overall time are displayed fine. But when clicking the possible connection there pops just a message 'on opening the details occured an error'?

Which version is that and with which backend?
If it's 0.0.30 with the DB backend that's weird, as that's what this release should have fixed (and has fixed for me).

Sorry for the noise!
Seems the 'apt-get update' slipped through and I had installed 0.0.29.
After upgrading everything is smooth.
THX.

But one suggestion I do have:
could you please optify the package? Easiest would be to just put the binary to /opt/maemo/usr/bin and symlink it back in /usr/bin.

Hi,

since the package is maintained again: Could you apply the following patch so sbb is working again, too? It is taken from the sailfish version of fahrplan.

Code:
