one of the only two options listed for this update is "support for ovi suite" and a few websites have said that messages can now be managed via that program, but this isn't working for me?

I just wanted to poll other people to see if it's the info that's wrong, or if i've done something bad on my end?

thanks!

Don't know, since Ovi Suite doesn't support Linux.

If only Nokia had access to some kind of programming library that made it easy to create cross-platform applications...

so just press enter a ton, and the text box won't cover up the text you're replying to!!

Yes it is supported! Maybe not with 2.x version of Ovi Suite but at least 3.x will.
As OVI3 is not released yet you have to wait for it. Maybe there will be an open beta you can sign up for to have an early version.

Works perfectly here. Message pane allows viewing and sending messages.
WinXP SP3 and Ovi Suite 2.2.1.123.

I had the 2 options with ota: maemo update and ovi, but by mistake I selected "ignore" for ovi.
Since yesterday I am trying to have back the ovi update, but it says to me no update available.
2 question.
Do you suggest to me to fully reflash?
Now I have version 20.2010.36-2. Is it pr 1.3 or 1.2.5?

I didn't have a reflash, works fine, and it's 1.3.

i have ovi 2.2.1.23 and it doesn't work!

and sorry, at the time i thought that pr1.3 was actually just the prep for the real pr1.3, therefore the pr1.2.5 :P

could you tell me where you got your ovi suite from, and what region firmware is your phone using?
