Hey heavyt.

I'm now using this method, going to the google.com/voice/m site in Tear and setting the zoom in and out option at .8 instead of .1.
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=105

This will give you one minute notifications for all your emails, so if you have your SMS messages forwarded, you'll get this right away.

You also won't get notifications sending a message like DC tends to do at times.

I really like this setup so maybe you might like it as well.

For now I am using 1.1.13 because LED notifications still works. It seems to be the best of all builds for N8xx. ;-)

Thanks, I must have missed that version.

All I can say is that going at least 6 weeks without notifications in DC led me to my current setting.

I also like it that if I subscribe to a thread here or at another forum, it will tell me right away if someone posts in it.

I have been using version 1.3.11 for about 2 weeks now on a N810, so far it seems to be stable.
But I found I am not able to change Background Alerts from 5 minutes. It will default back to 5 no matter what minutes interval I select in the account page after applying my options.

It'll be a bit before I can look at it. The code is all messed up in prep for some changes I am making and I'm heading out for a week.

I just played with DC on my n810 (DC 1.3.11). I didn't seem to see the problem. Mind sending me a log?

You can copy the log contents through Ctrl+l (lower-case L) or find the file at ~/.cache/dialcentral/dialcentral.log
