Vodafone sell all their phones unlocked and they're the only company to sell it.
I pre ordered mine on t-mobile uk on a contract so is that unlocked?

Have listed it on ebay if anyone wants to bid for it at £150.

I would take out the bit about the reason for sale. I bought a 'Samsung Galaxy S' sounds like you "upgraded" to it and they are selling for around the price your looking for on Ebay. Might point people away from your sale and onto the Samsung,
Just my 2 cents and good luck with the auction.

Although I've never heard of a SIM locked N900, Vodafone lock most if not all of their handsets usually.

@cardiff-blues

I don't think I've seen a case of an N900 being sim-locked. The best thing you can do is just get a sim card and pop it in.

I guess Vodafone lost exclusivity.

Ok, I think you may have gotten through third party and not T-Mobile itself. If that is the case, it is extremely likely to be unlocked. I couldn't find evidence to suggest that T-Mobile even stocked the N900.

@tswindell

I had an N97 on contract direct from Vodafone last year and it wasn't sim-locked.

Also, I thought that they announced a while back that none of their phones were going to be locked.

EDIT: If you check here: http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/topic/70...ersion-locked/

They state that only Blackberries and iPhones are locked.

I have five batteries. I don't see what's wrong with that.
