The build quality is crap though. It's only Nokia and Motorola that make rock solid phones. For that reason I'd avoid it. The galaxy S2 is a flagship phone but it feal cheap and plasticky.

Samsung has one of the BEST build quality around. What every uneducated people complain about are their BUILD PARTS.

And frankly, the plastic on my NOTE, did stop feeling cheap very quickly. And I appreciate it cause makes it durable to drops and much more lighter to tow about.

Analogy: It would be like saying Volkswagen makes really low build quality cars because it dresses them up in a (advanced) fibre glass... where as Ferrari makes its cars in Carbon Fibre.

Who cares about build quality. Focus on the OS and great things about new os gives the user base market.

It's so sad to see people finding errors in prototype, and demos.

Behave guys. You don't like new technology?

If it'll be open enough to install other Linux-es (like Nemo) - then great.

I think its a red-herring...There have been such certificates given out before for a SGS2 with Tizen too IIRC but you don't see much development on Tizen still...

I have a Tizen dev device by Samsung.

I can assure you that the build quality, fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired. As does the OS at this very moment.

Pairing Tizen with the S3 device would be a sureshot better than what I have in my hands right now.

Okay, so I should've included mainstream/flagship devices only.

By the way Dave, Nokia seems to be the only one focusing on build quality rather than the OS. Lumias are pretty and all, but Windows Phone leaves a bitter taste on my thumbs.

I rather a bearable build quality and a tasty OS instead.

If it comes to Samsung's flagship phones I'm fine with it.As long as there'll be a dualboot!
