Would've been nice if there was already some basic (real) support for Harmattan/Nemo ages ago...
Now resources will be split between: Android/BBX/Sailfish/Ubuntu/Other, I can see the total neglect creeping in, again.
If there was already a fairly solid base to build on, then resources being split wouldn't be so much of an issue.
Hopefully it won't be as simple as that, though....

This would simply boost the productivity of N900 and make it more of a office device..

As far as I'm aware, no one ever got it to build successfully for Maemo.

Yes. It works great under Debian (shameless plug ).

I tried calligra mobile in wheezy and it looks almost like freoffice on maemo so it was compiled but the problem is that freoffice crashing and SpreadSheet have unreadable background.

That's possible. Calligra Mobile has been discontinued in Jessie in favour of Calligra Active and it works very well.

So maybe there is somebody with enough knowledge about all this mess with dependencies and packaging who will be willing to compile newer calligra version? I tried version from: https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/calligramobile (stilll have hildon code)
but it stuck at compilation. I don't know if it's related to my sdk or something else.
