Well, I had a car accident yesterday because of my phone. Using the phone while driving is something you shouldn't do.
So guys what was your worst experience with your N900?

Tried using GPS while in Pittsburgh. It wouldn't lock for the entire day. Seriously.

piss off a X trying to take a picture..... daaang red light shows even though flash is not on.... learnt some...

I had two very bad experiences with my n900 which really freakin pissed me off.
First time was the night before i was due to go on holiday my usb broke off, so i ended up having very little pics of my holiday.
BUT yesterday was even more worse my 'conversations' app had a never ending internal error which forced it to close constantly and i ended up losing all my past conversations.

nah picture had nothing to do with it. matter of fact its a mystery to me..

Went to the country by train for one day, having to contact people there, and needing GPS.
Brought power monkey battery and solar charger, just in case.

result:
100% CPU bug inducing drain even before using GPS (pre PR1.2 niceties... well).
Because of massive enforcement of micro USB norm, N900 won't charge on data cable (on USB output of either the battery or the solar panel)
=> phone dead before lunch. Yay.

But with PR1.3 and a soldered charging cable, life is much safer nowadays...

Not picking up any signal after coming out of the underground for 2 hours. which led to

- unable to use ovi maps to locate a hospital i needed to visit urgently.
- unable to call my loved one to say im lost
- restarted with hope to alleviate the issue but it led to a 30% battery drain.

then randomly working without cause or reason.

Maybe it's a bit too late, but you could have tried to export/clean the database of conversations?
