I like the wifieye application very much and now i'm wondering if there is a similair application for bluetooth scanning. A seperate bt scan app would be easier to use than via the Settings -> Bluetooth menu.

How about using hcitool scan and sdptool browse commands in xterm?

Ehm, I've used hcitool but I would like to have a gui bluetooth scanner. You can make phone calls or send sms via xterm but I guess you also prefer the 'graphical solution´
