Well, we have to face the fact that Nokia did quite a poor job, developing both Symbian and MeeGo. When Elop was announced the new head, he had to face that the MeeGo development, the company's only hope, was not even in range of where it should have been.

TL;DR: Richie Green did quite a bad job, and should've left long ago.

He joined nokia in 2010, kind of difficult for him to leave "long ago".

Why do we have so many trolls on maemo.org?

According to "The Register" Henry Tirri is replacing Rich Green

Does anybody know something about Henry?

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/06...y_henry_tirri/

The graphic pictured in the register article definitely needs some - uhmm - explanation.

I think Elop underestimated the number of good people Nokia will lose. Or worse, doesn't care.

Going to be hard to rescue the Titannic without some good stewards...

Well if you look to the illustration at the bottom of the article in The Register then whatever is smoking seems to be in Henry Tirri´s mouth....

Capn. Ballmer will save the day with his stash of billions and his buyout plan.

I wonder if that wasn't the plan all along.
