No, it isn't. That might explain why it makes sense to you, the customer. Not to Jolla, the seller.

Same here. I find it sad that there is no OS alternative for this phone and sad also that it isn't selling so good compared to other Android devices. I'll be trying it out with All In One Gestures, but I fear I have been spoiled by N9, it was too good of a devices. Jolla came close, but they failed me as a customer so hard that I can't support them anymore.

BTW is there any hope in Ubuntu, I tried it a year ago with Nexus 4 and well uhh it was in sad state?

Oh and BTW I like the windows 10 gestures on a tablet. Swipe from up = close app, Swipe left = multitaskin view and swipe from right = settings and notifications. If only swipe from down would act like "windows button" Damn sounds like MS has actually done something remotely right for change

Oh I see.

Perhaps: "Intex Aquafish... you'll probably prefer a BQ Aquarius E5" could be the advertising slogan for the next Sailfish device.

Whilst not the cheapest option, looking at the resources provided by Sony, the Xperia Tablets look like a great candidate for a sailfish port.

http://developer.sonymobile.com/know...left-archives/

All of those devices shown use a unified kernel, and if the rumours floating around FOSDEM are true then Sony is also working on things like using Freedreno for the graphics stack, and also running a mainline kernel on their devices. Which will mean less device specific work for the porter team.

I know that Locusf has an Xperia Z3 Compact Tablet he is looking to develop a port for, and the device itself looks rather nice if a little expensive.
