Thanks god(s) I live in one of the most atheistic country in the world! But from what I know - they didn't ban it entirely but just moved to other repo, did they? Last time I checked iPhone/Android repositories, it was full of these useless apps so I understand it as cleanup.

But it's definitely a bad direction for society to go if anything that a vocal group of people finds bad is made hard to acquire. The censorship nutters will invariably win with the Apple model. Nokia has sidestepped the whole issue by not positioning itself as the sole gatekeeper to its devices.
And this is why we must make sure Nokia wins.
