Hi,

the image viewer on my N900 shows thumbnails of nonexistent images along with the ones of pictures that actually exist. These "ghost" thumbnails have some generic empty icon and if I search* for the file name I can't find any matching images. The file names make me believe that the images actually existed but that the file system they were on has been unmounted uncleanly while the image viewer was opened. If I try to delete these images I get the message that this action is not possible.
I have that problem for quite a while now (some months including several clean reboots and a fsck) but I never really cared. So due to the delay I can't give any more details. Does somebody know how I can get rid of these "ghosts"?

Code:
sudo find / -name '*FILENAME*'
