I've just got synergy working on my 770. http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/

This lets me share my laptop keyboard with my 770. I just slide the mouse of the left edge of the screen and now all input, mouse and keyboard goes to the Nokia, and slide it back again and it goes back to the laptop.

Now I need some help. Once the screen blanks no key press or mouse click will un-blank it. So I have to keep pressing the button on the Nokia. Does this happen with bluetooth keyboards too?

Is there any way to make the mouse pointer visible? I can tell it works because I can click and things happen, especially in skectch. - and the touch screen is disabled so the stylus won't work untill I move the mouse away. Indeed other than the cursor being invisible the mouse handling seems pretty good.

Have you made your 770 build available somewhere ?
If not, would you care to share it ?
Thx,
fp

You can download the binary for synergyc (the client) at http://saunby.net/770/synergy.tar.gz

Execute as

./synergyc -f ip_of_server

You'll need to have the synergy server running on your PC first.

See http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/running.html

Note that the return key behaviour isn't useful, use enter on the numeric keypad, or on my laptop it's Fn + return.

I'm using fixed IP addresses for everything on my wireless network. If you use DHCP then things might be a little awkward.
