No, please check your dimensions before opening your mouth.

At that time we have a laser that will handle rocks and randomly things and or proxies that can send the laser in different ways.

It won’t happen tomorrow.

I did not meant that, I meant the timescale.
Just to clarify, by "leaving the galaxy" what are you meaning exactly, what is your definition when someone has "left the galaxy", how far needs one be then?

I was thinking exactly the same question.

I would imagine that leaving "a system with things orbiting a thing" would entail passing the orbit of the farthest thing.

Which of course beg the question of how to find such a thing. Even in our own solar system we do not know how far the farthest object is. It may well be a chocolate teapot orbiting our sun at a distance that is 80% of the way between us and the nearest star (it can be father than half way because the nearest star, Proxima Centauri, is much smaller than our sun and an orbiting object can approach it closer than half way before being captured), and the only reason we have not found it yet is because it is made from a very dark Peruvian chocolate.

Leaving the galaxy...

alien finding probes that can sail the universe for years, decades, millenniums... and so forth while advancing the tech.

(We might need to go beyond the current laws of physics to get response in time.)

Leaving the Milky Way.

“Distance of Milky Way from end to end is CONSIDERED to be 100000 to 120000 light years, could be much more.

Location of our Solar System in milky way from the center is assumed to be 28000 light years.”

So we need billions of years of travel time with current tech. Unless we find away for hyper drive, jump drive or warp drive.

I do believe that since the universe is expanding outwards all the time...
that yes our Galaxy is pulling further and further away from other nearby Galaxies..
so saying it would make conventional travel pretty much impossible...
if the other Galaxies are moving faster away than we could accelerate to the speed to gain ...

But I am not quite sure if we will leave our Galaxy...
even though we are on an outward arm of the spiral...
there is this thing called gravity...
it tends to keep us in this galaxy...
I know that there is still expansion inside the galaxy here ....itself..
but I don't think it severe as universal expansion...
or else why stop there?
Solar system expansion too then should be occurring...
and so technically
we shouldn't by such logic ever be able to leave the solar system ..
and we our selves would be pulling further away from our own sun...

ah, @endsormeans; you are postulating a form of Zeno's Paradox, then?
No wonder I feel I cannot get up from bed and go to work on the morning; seems like I can never quite get there!

What if we can find this force that expanding the universe. Who is expanding it and why????

Fricking unfair

What if it exapands faster currently because our universe is sliding downhill in some way in another dimension and it will eventually slow down and go the other way. The reason for that is to protect all the aliens(us included) from leaving the galaxy(or even the universe)until we reached a level of understanding and explored our own galaxy first.

Sounds reasonable
