silent profile icon definitely should be replaced, to be similar to general one. Now it`s completely out of place. Look at wakko post (#242) to see the problem.

does any one know how to identify the icon name and path for any program such as : cuteTube-QML and qMetro

there is code to type in x-Terminal that tell me the name of ant app .

you can try top while having the app open. Or ls /opt/usr/bin to see a list of binaries

First of all A BIG THANKS to MIKE FILA he helped me a lot from (howto) make a garage acc. To using py2deb
I successfully got the permission to upload to extras .. But there are is a problem which has come :

Problem (harmattan icons)
I've successfully ported the icons for apps which had missing icons..
But I've done it only for apps that i've installed WHERE WILL I PLACE THE ICONS FOR APPS WHICH I HAVEN'T INSTALLED ? I CANT INSTALL EACH APP AND DO IT!!

BTW I've made 50 harmattan icons

will post the screenshot and list 2mrw

As Promised Here's what i made (50 F'ing icons):

Thanks a Ton to Mike Fila I now know how to make a .deb and upload to repos !!

But the problem on the above post remains !!

the battery-eye app is made by python i think and i cannot find the app icon location,

other app icons (qml and gtk) can be placed in 64x64 or 48x48 icons folder they will work fine..

(p.s.. not sure as i didnt tested..

)

the name is important though it isnt always the same as the app itself. example cutetube's icon name is qmltube64

If you have a program that has a new icon go to usr/share/applications/hildon find the .desktop file open it and see what the icon name is.

for pacman ce open xterm
root
apt-get update
apt-get install aptitude
aptitude install pacmance
