If you are in the Los Angeles are you may want to give this store a call. I recently picked up my N900 here after them showing me a demo.
Yes this is a techie phone. If you have been brain washed by an Iphone, it may be difficult for you to get comfortable with the N900.
Here's the info. Give them a call ahead of time to make sure they have a demo available.

I take Amazon, DELL, etc. ship completely new devices. Not ones that were "returned"..and heaven forbids "refurbished"... !
