still no fix for the app in the app manager. Getting the same error "installation file corrupted"

Any idea when this will get updated/fixed so we can actually use the app?

but I can't make it work

I have VLC 1.1.2

I go to tools - preferences - show settings all - interface - main interface - http remote control interface

I choose that and in the write box appears oldhttp

if I click the arrow in the main interface appears an http option

it says host interface I guess i have to put the ip address of my n900

and in the config of the vlc remote I put the ip of the pc I'm running the vlc

host interface => You probably need to put the desktop IP allowed... But certainly not the N900 IP...

open a browser on your PC and your phone , and go to : http://IpOfYourVLc:8080

You should see a webinterface like this :

you are right I have to put the pc IP addy, but also had to turn off utorrent webui for some reason they dont play alone in peace.

the remote works pretty damn fast but I have some issues the pause button stops it the play button again stops it and the stop button well that works as it should.

also the time line doesnt update in sync with the movie in playing, the name appears perfectly

volume works perfectly

next and prev works as they should

album art transfer is possible ?

Cheers! Its now installed and I got it working.
Anyone having issues with it then please bare in mind you may need to open the port 8080 for your pc's ip.
Will test it properly tonight while watching some telly Just what i needed
