Sorry about that! I thought people here knew about it.

Western digital makes it. Its cloud storage you can keep at home. Very cheap storage compared to paying online storage and this app allows the transfer of data from phone to the home cloud.

It indeed looks like there is source available for the GPL'ed parts of the WD MyCloud EX4.
Even as I did not find a documented client API for the cloud functionality and there seems to only exist clients for Win&Mac, I suppose it is possible to look at the server side sources to recreate the client side API. (see http://support.wd.com/product/downlo...id=213&lang=en)

There also exists Mycloud app for android as well. There would be API involved in that version. I just don't know where to find source if available.
