@Viber - as it seems it is hard for your team/representative/whoever to make a difference between Maemo and Symbian, just a little hint in case you are using Qt to develop Viber for Symbian - Both Maemo 5 (Fremantle) and Maemo 6 (Harmattan) have Qt 4.7.4 (at least).

Not that I need an application which uploads all of my contacts to a third party server, but just in case.

Mistakes happen - we are aware of the difference between Maemo and Symbian. We cared enough to respond back, correct ourselves, and apologize.

As we said - we apologize for our momentarily confusion.

@Viber: I used Viber on my iPhone day per day since it worked much better than Skype that time ago. With the N9 though Skype is amazing and doesn't have to run in a separate app like on iOS.

But if you develop your application for Symbian, you really should consider to make it available for N9 too (Maemo 6 MeeGo Harmattan). Using Qt this shouldn't be a big deal and you could win a couple more users with the production of just one application.

Recommend that to your developers and btw, great that you talk with people in forums like this - something not every company does...

@Viber hi there, are you developing the app in plain Qt or in QML for Nokia Belle?

@the others. LOL Viber's team is kind enough to come talk to us directly instead of announcing via social network, and you treat them like that? Very educate of you.

At this stage we prefer not disclosing some internal technical information. We are working hard to find the best and more suitable path for us to develop Viber on Symbian

continuing your off topic :
For your information ebuddy xms is available for symbian because it is built using QT . But like the meego version it is in beta .
