As you can read from the first post in this thread, 40.2012.21-3 is the PR1.3 version for the firmware. The "40" string indicates the PR1.3 release.
The link provided to the EMMC is also the latest for PR1.3.

Please post a screenshot of the error (if the spam filter allows you) and the details of what you use to flash the phone.

Please read the thread!

I would say either there was an Asian/Chinese firmware (cmt) flashed. Then I guess you are out of luck.
But probably it is just a bad download, so try download once more (and please check md5sum against the ones posted somewhere here in forum).

Hi,
So I'm trying to flash my phone (rootfs) on a fedora 64 bit machine.
My phone variant is: DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3.249.1_PR_249

I have flashed successfully before using this command (flasher 3.12.1)
flasher -f -F main.bin -R

This time I get:

Code:
Sending ape-algo image (7103kb)...

Write failed after 0 bytes
usb_bulk_write: Connection timed out
ERROR:L Failed to upload APE algorithm
edit: well I re-downloaded the rootfs file and this time did:
flasher -f -F ./main.bin and it worked. :-)

You need to flash the device with the same or later version than what's in the device currently.

"DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_001" is smaller version than "DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3.335.1_PR_335"
i have like his problem exactly put i do not know product code because i misses sim tray .... please help
