I was playing around with internet radio on the N800 yesterday, and I was a little surprised that there doesn't seem to be one app that combines convenient searching with an informative display.

The OS2008 Media Player doesn't have much of a search function. It's a bit awkward searching on the web first and then opening the stream in Media Player. And the display while playing a station doesn't show much information.

Streamtuner has a nice search function, but it doesn't have any player controls or display any information about the song being played. There doesn't seem to be any way to transfer a bookmark to other apps. And the Record function doesn't work.

Is there something I'm missing in these apps? Is there another internet radio app I should try?

MediaBox has a plugin for the SHOUTcast directory. But as of now you can't search or record. It does display the current song information, though.

Steartuner is great and better yet combine it with streamripper and you record endless music
