Is there a instant messaging app for the maemo community? either for the n900 or just regular web browsing on a desk top or what ever. i think that would be cool if we had our own im service. we could bug the hell out of each other lol. i mean be more productive of course.

btw, there's an application that lets you connect to an irc chatroom from the n900's messaging application:
http://maemo.org/packages/view/telepathy-idle/
one version of it is in -testing, an newer one in -devel. works well for me.
