The Verge reports "Skype is preparing to update its range of clients to support a new video messaging option.":

So just maybe there still is a chance we'll see skype video calling on the N9?

I doubt they'd have the slightest interest in doing an official client for Harmattan.
The only people that would bother are Nokia, & they most probably won't either.
