i think there is an app for that in fremantle. i forgot the name of the app, something like wifi assistant. its in extras repo.

you're right, there is a wifi assistant app. What it does is, open the login page automatically. While its good, its only half way there. I was wondering if something could auto login as well

If the login page uses post method and has static address creating a similar sh script to start lynx and post your login/password to it should be doable. With icon would get close to auto, not sure if lynx is compiled for N9, the N900 version might work.

So, is there any way to automate this process? I have tried with wget, but not able to do it. I see that android has an app for this (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...loginapp&hl=en) aand I was wondering if somebofy could please hack up something similiar for maemo/meego??
