Try ConnectNow. This allows you to place multiple widgets on the desktop to toggle connections on/off.

In ConnectNow you press the connection to connect, and press again to disconnect thus enable + disable?

Yes, I understand the fact that ConnectNow works as on-off switch for the wi-fi/Gprs connection you have created.
But WifiSwitcher acts as a hardware switch just like on-off switch on laptop. Once wi-fi module is off you can't use any software to connect unless the wi-fi is switch back on.

Is there a widget for the famous Wifi Switcher applet? I use this a lot and would really prefer just a switch on and off widget that does the same as the applet in the notification tray.
