Assuming that is pirated material, you should remove that attachment because of forum rules.

Latest "Automatic install" app caused an infinite bootloop. I cant get past the boot loader now... and no, pressing "0" does not go anywhere any further.

This is ridiculous. Now have to reflash it again. Very disappointed in this latest script..

Just flash the kernel from a fiasco image, and your device should be running maemo again!

The problem is like i have created partitions, but with wrong block size.

I have the 8GB appln install space eMMC. With that, my partition table appeared to be
Device Boot Start End
/dev/mmcblk0p1 2 688258
/dev/mmcblk0p2 688258 950401
/dev/mmcblk0p3 950402 974977

Instead of usual

Device Boot Start End
/dev/mmcblk0p1 2 884865
/dev/mmcblk0p2 884866 950401
/dev/mmcblk0p3 950402 974977.

So I carried out a partitioning like

n
p
1
First cylinder: 2
Last cylinder: 600000

n
e
First cylinder: 600001
Last cylinder: 688258
n
First cylinder: 600001
Last cylinder: 688258
t

Is there a problem due to this? And i now cannot copy any files into the eMMc or even move within. Shows memory read only or input/output error- when done from xterm.

And also when tried to untar the NITDroid archive, the same result.

Any suggestions friends?

Note: This should all be printed in red, bold letters about any of those so-called HowTos:

Just changing the partition table out of the blue, creates data loss! Every time! So do a backup before that, not complain later!

The OS is not capable of adjusting a different partition table to a now useless file system!
Always apply a fresh file system to the changed geometry of your partitions! That does not fix any data loss issue, but gives you a usable file system to start with.

The most important error is: You can't have start and end of partitions on the same sector

You might change the partition table to the old scheme, sure, you had made a backup of it before tinkering with it. A reboot would helps the system, hopefully, to make use of all the partitions and file systems again.

Camera HAL for N900 (Gingerbread)
« on: February 26, 2012, 02:04:49 am »
Camera HAL for n900 has been pushed to gitorious.
https://gitorious.org/android-n900/v...read/libcamera

It's based on V4L2 camera HAL, but adapted a little, coupled with crespo's HAL and as result we have this P.O.S

So if anyone'd interested... welcome to next level
