Since i'm not an expert in coding and stuff, what are the chances to see MicroB browser ported to n9?

It already uses WebKit2, there's no need to port the aging MicroB browser to the N9. What I'd want to see is the shiny new browser ported to older Maemo versions.

Wasn't Chromium ported to M5? What happened to that? I can't find it in the repos anymore.

It was pulled because of Google getting sued by a patent troll. IIRC it's still on a non-Maemo.org repo.

Well I agree with you but i'm afraid that the WebKit2 based browser on the n9 doesn't have the "cursor function" (the thing when you swipe from left to centre) and in general isn't so "intelligent" as MicroB.

No Flash support, either.

MicroB:
-virtual cursor / pointer for easy selection of text
-circular single touch stepless zoom
-swipe for history
-address bar and back button conveniently on bottom
-in browser flash playback
-adblock + flashblock (no script, anyone?)

It's the best ever mobile browser in use. Bring it on on N9.
